PATTERN:
See pattern A.1 to A.3, choose diagram for your size (applies to A.2). The diagrams show all rows in pattern seen from RS. Pattern is worked in stocking st.
----------------------------------------------------------
BODY:
Worked in the round on circular needle.
Cast on 116-128-140-152-164-176 sts on circular needle size 7 mm with red. Work rib = K 2/P 2 for 7 cm. Switch to circular needle size 8 mm and K 1 round while AT THE SAME TIME dec 20 sts evenly = 96-108-120-132-144-156 sts. Insert 1 marker in first st on round and 1 marker in the 49th-55th-61st-67th-73rd-79th st – these mark the sides. Work in stocking st. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When piece measures 26-27-28-29-30-31 cm, work diagram A.1. When A.1 has been worked 1 time vertically, divide the piece at the markers (= 48-54-60-66-72-78 sts on front piece and back piece).
FRONT PIECE:
Then work as follows from RS: Cast on 1 edge st, work 12-14-18-21-23-26 sts in stocking st, A.2 – see diagramme to your size, 12-14-18-21-23-26 sts in stocking st, cast on 1 edge st = 50-56-62-68-74-80 sts. Work edge sts in garter st. Continue pattern like this until A.2 has been work 1 time vertically. Piece measures approx. 41-42-43-44-45-46 cm. Then cast off 4 sts in each side of piece = 42-48-54-60-66-72 sts.
BACK PIECE:
Cast on 1 edge st in each side of piece (= 50-56-62-68-74-80 sts) and continue in stocking st until piece measures approx. 41-42-43-44-45-46 cm – adjust measurements with front piece. Then cast off 4 sts in each side of piece = 42-48-54-60-66-72 sts.
Put piece aside and knit the sleeves.
SLEEVE:
Worked in the round on double pointed needles.
Cast on 28-28-32-32-36-36 sts on double pointed needles size 7 mm with red. Work rib = K 2/P 2. When piece measures 7 cm, switch to double pointed needles size 8 mm. Work in stocking st. Insert 1 marker in first st at beg of round (= mid under sleeve). When piece measures 14 cm, inc 1 st on each side of st with marker, repeat inc every 8-8-6-6-5-5 cm 3-3-4-4-5-5 more times = 36-36-42-42-48-48 sts. When piece measures 43 cm, cast off 7 sts mid under sleeve (i.e. st with marker + 3 sts on each side of this) = 29-29-35-35-41-41 sts remain on needle. Knit another sleeve.
YOKE:
Slip sleeves on to same circular needle size 8 mm as body = 142-154-178-190-214-226 sts. Insert 1 marker mid back – NOW ROUND BEG HERE! Work 1 round AT THE SAME TIME adjust no of sts to 140-160-180-180-200-220. Then continue to work and dec according to A.3 - work up to arrow for your size = 70-80-90-90-90-99 sts. Then work with red. Work 1 round while AT THE SAME TIME dec 10-20-26-26-22-31 sts evenly = 60-60-64-64-68-68 sts. Then work an elevation in the back as follows: K 8 sts past marker mid back, turn and P 17 sts back, turn and K 25 sts, turn and P 33 sts, turn and K 41 sts, turn and P 49 sts. Turn and work 1 round to mid back.
