Crochet DROPS basket in 3 threads "Muskat".

Materials:
DROPS MUSKAT from Garnstudio

MARBLED BASKET:
150 g colour no 36, denim blue
100 g colour no 76, sky blue
100 g colour no 18, white

WHITE BASKET:
200 g colour no 18, white

DROPS CROCHET HOOK SIZE 6 mm – or size needed to get 12 dc = 10 cm in width with 3 strands.

YARN TIP:
When working with several strands from same ball, it might be necessary to work from inside and outside of same ball. It might also be necessary to cut some metres yarn for some of the stripes. Work yarn ends in along the way, to have fewer strands to fasten when finished.

CROCHET INFO:
After last dc on the round, continue to next round with 1 dc in next dc (= 1st dc from previous round). NOTE: Insert a marker at the beg of round between last dc on round and 1st dc on next round, move the marker upwards when working.

COLOURS:
The entire basket is worked with 3 strands Muskat, either just white or in marbled colour explained here.
ROUND 1-17: 3 strands denim blue.
ROUND 18-19: 2 strands denim blue and 1 strand sky blue.
ROUND 20-21: 1 strand denim blue and 2 strands sky blue.
ROUND 22-23: 2 strands sky blue and 1 strand white
ROUND 24-25: 1 strand sky blue and 2 strands white
ROUND 26-28: 3 strands white.

DECREASE TIP:
Work 1 dc but wait with last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), work 1 dc more the same way (= 3 sts on hook) and pull yarn through all sts on hook = 1 dc dec.

REVERSE CROCHET:
Work as dc but backwards. I.e. crochet around from left to right

BASKET:
Worked in the round. Work 2 ch with hook size 6 mm and 3 strands Muskat – READ COLOUR AND YARN TIP ABOVE.
ROUND 1: Work 6 dc in the 2nd ch from hook - READ CROCHET TIP.
ROUND 2: Work 2 dc in every dc = 12 dc.
ROUND 3: * 1 dc in next dc, work 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round (= 6 inc dc) = 18 dc.
ROUND 4: * 1 dc in each of the next 2 dc, work 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round (= 6 inc dc) = 24 dc.
ROUND 5: * 1 dc in each of the next 3 dc, work 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round (= 6 inc dc) = 30 dc.
ROUND 6-15: Continue to inc 6 sts on every round by working 1 dc more before every inc. After 15th round there are 90 dc on round.
ROUND 16-17: Work 1 dc in every dc the entire round.
ROUND 18: * Work 1 dc in each of the next 13 dc, work 2 dc tog * - READ DECREASE TIP ABOVE, repeat from *-* the entire round = 6 sts dec and 84 dc remain.
ROUND 19: Work 1 dc in every dc the entire round.
ROUND 20: Work 1 dc in each of the next 6 dc, * work 2 dc tog, work 1 dc in each of the next 12 dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 dc in each of the last 6 dc = 6 sts dec and 78 sts remain.
ROUND 21: Work 1 dc in every dc the entire round.
ROUND 22: * Work 1 dc in each of the next 11 dc, work 2 dc tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 6 sts dec and 72 dc remain.
ROUND 23: Work 1 dc in every dc the entire round.
ROUND 24: Work 1 dc in each of the next 5 dc, * work 2 dc tog, work 1 dc in each of the next 10 dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 dc in each of the next 5 dc = 6 sts dec and 66 sts remain.
ROUND 25: Work 1 dc in every dc the entire round.
ROUND 26: * Work 2 dc tog, work 1 dc in each of the next 9 dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 dc in each of the next 9 dc = 6 sts dec and 60 sts remain.
ROUND 27: Work 1 dc in every dc the entire round.
ROUND 28: Work 1 round with REVERSE CROCHET - see explanation above. Fasten off.
