Crochet DROPS watermelon pot holders in ”Paris”.

DROPS PARIS from Garnstudio
100 g colour no 12, red
50 g colour no 38, raspberry
50 g colour no 21, light mint green
50 g colour no 11, opal green
50 g colour no 15, black

DROPS CROCHET HOOK SIZE 3 mm – or size needed to get 20 tr = width 10 cm.

CROCHET INFO:
ROUNDS WITH TR: Beg every tr round with 3 ch, finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round (these ch are not counted in no of tr).
ROUNDS WITH DC: Beg every dc round with 1 ch, finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round (this ch is not count in no of dc).

COLOURS:
ROUND 1 to 6: Red
ROUND 7 to 8: Raspberry
ROUND 9: Light mint green
ROUND 10 and assembly: Opal green
Seeds: Black

STRAP:
1 ch, * 1 dc in front part of 1st dc from hook, 1 ch *, repeat from *-* until strap measures 6 cm.

POT HOLDER:
Work with Paris on hook size 3 mm - read explanation on COLOURS above. Work 4 ch with red and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: READ CROCHET INFO! - see explanation above Work 10 tr in ch-ring.
ROUND 2: Work 2 dc in every st = 20 dc.
ROUND 3: * 2 tr in first st, 1 tr in next st *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 30 tr.
ROUND 4: * 2 dc in first st, 1 dc in each of the next 2 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 40 dc.
ROUND 5: * 2 tr in first st, 1 tr in each of the next 3 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 50 tr.
ROUND 6: * 2 dc in first st, 1 dc in each of the next 4 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 60 dc.
ROUND 7: * 2 tr in first st, 1 tr in each of the next 5 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 70 tr.
ROUND 8: * 2 dc in first st, 1 dc in each of the next 6 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 80 dc.
ROUND 9: * 2 tr in first st, 1 tr in each of the next 7 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 90 tr.
ROUND 10: * 2 dc in first st, 1 dc in each of the next 8 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 100 dc. Fasten all strands.
Work 3 more pot holders the same way.

SEED STITCHES:
Embroider seeds with black on both pot holders with chain stitches placed as follows:
ROUND 4: 1 stitch in the middle of each double dc = 10 stitches around.
ROUND 6: 1 stitch between 2nd and 3rd dc after each double dc = 10 stitches around.

ASSEMBLY:
Place 2 pot holders tog, WS against WS. Work them tog by insert hook through both pot holders at the same time as follows: Work 2 dc in first st, 1 dc through each of the next 9 dc, work STRAP - see explanation above, skip 1 st, 1 dc through each of the next 9 dc, * 2 dc in next dc, 1 dc through each of the next 9 dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 110 dc, piece measures approx. 18 cm in diameter. Fasten off.
Then crochet tog the 2 last pot holders.
