DROPS Christmas: Knitted candle holder cover in DROPS Alpaca, Kid-Silk and Glitter.

Size: one-size
Light cover fits a glass with an approx. circumference of 22 cm, they are worked somewhat smaller so that they can be stretched over the glass.
Materials: DROPS ALPACA from Garnstudio
50 g colour no 100, off white
and use: DROPS KID-SILK from Garnstudio
25 g colour no 01, off white
and use: DROPS GLITTER from Garnstudio
1 spool colour no 01, gold
1 candle holder weighs approx. 7 g.
DROPS STRAIGHT NEEDLES SIZE 6 mm - or size needed to get 15 sts x 19 rows in stocking st with 1 strand of each yarn = 10 x 10 cm.
GARTER ST (back and forth on needle):
K all rows. 1 ridge = 2 rows K.

TEA CANDLE HOLDER IN GARTER ST:
Cast on 26 sts on needle size 6 mm with 1 strand Alpaca, 1 strand Kid-Silk and 1 strand Glitter. Work ridges in GARTER ST – see explanation above – until piece measures 8 cm, or desired measurements. Cast off. Sew tog inside 1 st in garter st in the side.
TEA CANDLE HOLDER WITH SIMPLE CABLE:
Cast on 37 sts on needle size 6 mm with 1 strand Alpaca, 1 strand Kid-Silk and 1 strand Glitter. Work as follows – from RS: 1 edge st, * P 2, K 3 *, repeat from *-* 6 more times, finish with 1 edge st. Work a total of 4 rows this way. Continue according to A.1 with 1 edge st in each side. Continue pattern until A.1 has been worked 4 times vertically, or to desired measurements. Cast off. Sew tog inside 1 edge st in each side.
TEA CANDLE HOLDER WITH LACE PATTERN:
Cast on 26 sts on needle size 6 mm with 1 strand Alpaca, 1 strand Kid-Silk and 1 strand Glitter. Work 1 ridge in GARTER ST - see explanation above. Then work as follows: 1 edge st, A.2 A, repeat A.2 B until 3 sts remain, finish with A.2 C and 1 edge st. Continue with A.2 until piece measures 8 cm vertically or desired measurements. Cast off. Sew tog inside 1 edge st in the side.
