650-700-800 g colour no 21, blue/violet

DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE (80 cm) SIZE 9 mm - or size needed to get 10 sts x 14 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.

GARTER ST (in the round on circular needle):
* K 1 round and P 1 round *, repeat from *-*. 1 ridge = 2 rounds.

PATTERN:
See diagram A.1. Diagram shows all rows in pattern seen from RS.

MOSS ST:
Row 1: * K 1, P 1 *, repeat from *-*.
Row 2: K over P and P over K. Repeat 2nd row.

PONCHO:
Worked in the round on circular needle.
Cast on 170-187-204 sts on circular needle size 9 mm with Snow. Work 1 RIDGE in garter st – see explanation above, then continue according to diagram A.1. When A.1 has been worked for 12-13-14 cm, work 1 ridge in garter st, on 1st row in ridge dec 17 sts evenly = 153-170-187 sts. Work MOSS ST - see explanation above. When moss st has been worked for 12-13-14 cm, work 1 ridge in garter st, on 1st row in ridge dec 17 sts evenly = 136-153-170 sts. Work diagram A.1. When A.1 has been worked for 12-13-14 cm, work 1 ridge in garter st, on 1st row in ridge dec 17 sts evenly = 119-136-153 sts. Work in moss st. When moss st has been worked for 12-13-14 cm, work 1 ridge in garter st, on 1st row in ridge dec 17-22-27 sts evenly = 102-114-126 sts. Piece measures 53-57-61 cm. Continue to work rib K 2/P 4. When rib measures 6 cm, P the first 2 sts in every P-section tog = 85-95-105 sts. Continue with rib = K 2/P 3. Repeat dec when rib measures 12-13-14 cm, but then at the end of every P-section = 68-76-84 sts. Continue with rib = K 2/P 2 until rib measures 32-35-38 cm. Cast off sts with K over K and P over P.
