DROPS CROCHET HOOK SIZE 4 mm - or size needed to get 22 dc = width 10 cm.
ACCESSORIES: Some cotton wool for filling.

MAGIC CIRCLE:
When piece is worked in the round, start with this technique to avoid holes in the middle. Hold the yarn end and wind the yarn one time around the index finger to make a loop. Hold the loop with left thumb and middle finger, place the yarn over left index finger. Insert hook through the loop, make a YO and pull yarn through loop, work 1 ch, then work dc around the loop. When the desired no of dc have been reached, pull the yarn end to tighten the loop. Fasten the yarn end on the back side. Continue to work in the round in a circle.

WORK IN THE ROUND IN A CIRCLE:
After last dc on the round, continue to next round with 1 dc in next dc (= first dc from previous round). NOTE: Insert a marker at the beg of round between last dc and 1st dc on round, move the marker upwards when working.

INCREASE TIP:
Inc 1 st by working 2 sts in next dc.

CROCHET DC TOG:
Crochet 2 dc tog into 1 dc as follows: Insert hook in dc and pull thread through, insert hook in next dc and pull thread through, make 1 YO and pull thread through all 3 sts on hook.

REVERS CROCHET:
Work as dc but backwards. I.e. crochet around from left to right
--------------------------------------------------------

BREAD:
Worked in the round in a circle. Crochet 19 ch with off white. Work 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook, then work 1 dc in every ch on each side of ch-row = 36 dc (18 dc on each side). Then work in the round. Insert 1 marker in each side, the first before first dc, the second after 18 dc. When piece measures 23 cm, AT THE SAME TIME inc 1 st each side of every marker (= 4 inc). Repeat inc every round, 3 more times = 52 sts. Fasten off.

Work the same way with dark beige but after 4 rounds with inc work 3 rounds without inc. Place the two parts tog, fill with some cotton wool and work them tog with 1 strand beige. Work 1 dc through dc on both layers. Make another half the same way, then work the two halves tog in the middle 8 dc on one long side, work with beige through both layers with 1 sl st in every dc.
