Knitted DROPS mobile pouch in 2 threads "Kid-Silk".

Size: Fits all mobile phones.
Materials: DROPS KID-SILK from Garnstudio
25 g colour no 04, medium pink
DROPS DOUBLE POINTED NEEDLES SIZE 2 mm - or size needed to get 30 sts x 39 rows in stocking st with 2 threads = 10 x 10 cm.
MEASURING TIP:
Measure the mobile's circumference. Cast on sts that can be stretched to this size (with a light pull). Add 6 sts. This is the no of stitches needed for the mobile pouch.
DOUBLE THREAD TIP:
When using double thread, use the thread from both the inside and outside of ball.
GARTER ST (in the round on double pointed needles):
* K 1 round and P 1 round *, repeat from *-*.
PATTERN:
See diagram M.1. The diagram shows the pattern from RS.
TWINED THREAD:
Cut 6 threads of 2 meters each. Tie the end of each of these 6 threads tog. Twine the threads tog until they resist, fold the thread double so that they twine. Make a knot at each end.

MOBILE POUCH:
Start by reading MEASURING TIP - see explanation above. Cast on sts on double pointed needles size 2 mm with 2 threads Kid-Silk - see explanation above. Work in stocking st - at the same time work M.1 over the middle 15 sts. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!
Continue until piece measures the same height as mobile. Work 2 rounds in garter st - see explanation above. Work next round as follows: * 1 YO, K 2 tog *, repeat from *-*. Then work 2 rounds in garter st. Cast off.
ASSEMBLY:
Sew bottom tog. Make a twined thread of approx. 55 cm - see explanation above. Pull the thread between the YOs for tie.
