DROPS 125-3 DROPS design: Pattern no KS-039 -------------------------------------------------------- Measurements: Width at top: approx 175 cm Length mid back: approx 90 cm Materials: DROPS KID-SILK from Garnstudio 100 g colour no 02, black DROPS CROCHET HOOK size 3.5 mm - or size needed to get 1 flower square = 11 x 11 cm. Diagonal from corner to corner = approx 16 cm.
CROCHET TOG 4 DTR: Crochet 1 dtr but wait with last YO and pull-through (= 2 sts on hook), crochet next dtr but wait with last YO and pull-through (= 3 sts on hook), crochet next dtr but wait with last YO and pull-through (= 4 sts on hook), crochet last dtr and pull last YO through all 5 sts on hook. -------------------------------------------------------- WHOLE FLOWER SQUARE: Work 8 ch with crochet hook size 3.5 mm and Kid-Silk and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: 3 ch (= 1 tr), * 2 ch, 1 tr in ring , repeat from -* a total of 7 times and finish with 2 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round (= 8 tr on round with 2 ch between each). ROUND 2: 4 dtr (replace first dtr on round with 4 ch) in first ch-loop, * 2 ch, 4 dtr in next ch-loop , repeat from -* a total of 7 times and finish with 2 ch and 1 sl st in 4th ch from beg of round. ROUND 3: * 4 dtr crochet tog – SEE ABOVE (replace first dtr on round with 4 ch – NOTE: work 1 dtr in each dtr from previous round), 6 ch, 1 tr round the 2 ch from previous round, 6 ch , repeat from -* a total of 8 times and finish with 1 sl st at the top of first dtr-group. ROUND 4: Crochet sl sts to the middle of first ch-loop, 1 ch, 1 dc in ch-loop, * 5 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop, 5 ch, 1 tr in next ch-loop, 10 ch, 1 tr in next ch-loop (= corner), 5 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop , repeat from -* a total of 3 times, then 5 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop, 5 ch, 1 tr in next ch-loop, 10 ch, 1 tr in next ch-loop (= corner), 5 ch, finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round. HALF FLOWER SQUARE: Work 6 ch with crochet hook size 3.5 mm and Kid-Silk and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROW 1: 5 ch (= 1 tr + 2 ch), * 1 tr in ch-loop, 2 ch , repeat from -* a total of 3 times and finish with 1 tr in ch-loop, turn piece. ROW 2: 4 dtr (replace first dtr on row with 4 ch) in first ch-loop, * 2 ch, 4 dtr in next ch-loop , repeat from -* a total of 2 times and finish with 2 ch and 4 dtr in last ch-loop, turn piece. ROW 3: 9 ch, * 4 dtr crochet tog – SEE ABOVE (work 1 dtr in each dtr from previous row), 6 ch, 1 tr round the 2 ch from previous row, 6 ch , repeat from -* a total of 3 times and finish with 4 dtr tog, 6 ch and 1 tr in first dtr from previous row, turn piece. ROW 4: 8 ch, 1 tr in ch-loop, 5 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop, 5 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop, 5 ch, 1 tr in next ch-loop, 10 ch, 1 tr in next ch-loop (= corner), 5 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop, 5 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop, 5 ch, 1 tr in next ch-loop, 5 ch, finish with 1 tr in 6th ch from previous row. SHAWL: Crochet 55 whole flower squares and 11 half squares. Place the squares as shown in M.1. Sew the squares tog edge to edge with neat sts or crochet them tog with dc. Make a finishing border with a row of dc.
