EASTER BUNNY EGG WARMER
Materials: DROPS MERINO Extra Fine from Garnstudio
Colour no 100, off-white / no 05m, light grey
And use: DROPS KID-SILK from Garnstudio
Colour no 01, off-white / no 10 grey
And use: DROPS SILKE-ALPACA from Garnstudio
Colour no 3140, light pink

For 1 bunny you need approx 5 g Kid-Silk, 20 g Merino Extra Fine and a remnant Silke-Alpaca.

DROPS POINTED NEEDLES size 4 mm – or size needed to get 19 sts x 38 rows in garter st with 1 thread Merino Extra Fine and 1 thread Kid-Silk = 10 x 10 cm.
DROPS CROCHET HOOK size 3.5 mm – for bow.

EGG BASKET
Measurements: height approx 16 cm
Materials: DROPS MERINO EXTRA FINE
100 g colour no 100, off-white
And use: DROPS KID-SILK
25 g colour no 01, off-white
And use: DROPS SILKE-ALPACA
50 g colour no 3140, light pink

DROPS POINTED NEEDLES size 4 mm – or size needed to get 19 sts x 38 rows in garter st with 1 thread Merino Extra Fine and 1 thread Kid-Silk = 10 x 10 cm.
DROPS CROCHET HOOK size 3.5 mm – for border.
DROPS CROCHET HOOK size 5 mm – for tie string.

EASTER BUNNY:
Worked in garter st, i.e. K all rows. Cast on 30 sts on needle size 4 mm with 1 thread Merino Extra Fine and 1 thread Kid-Silk and work garter st back and forth on needle until piece measures 8 cm. Cast off the first st on row, work the next 14 sts and slip the remaining 15 sts on a stitch holder. Continue back and forth on the 14 sts until piece measures 7 cm from stitch holder. Cut the thread, pull through all 14 sts, tighten and fasten (= ear). Slip the 15 sts back on needle. Cast off 1 st towards the 14 sts = 14 sts left. Continue back and forth on the 14 sts until ear measures 7 cm. Cut the thread, pull through all 14 sts, tighten and fasten.

ASSEMBLY:
Sew both ears tog and sew egg warmer tog mid back.

BOW:
Work a string of ch measuring approx 35 to 40 cm with light pink Silke-Alpaca and crochet hook size 3.5 mm. Tie the string round both ears and make a bow. Embroider 2 eyes with a dark colour. Tie a large knot with light pink Silke-Alpaca and attach mid front for nose.

EGG BASKET:
Worked in garter st, i.e. K all rows. Cast on 28 sts on needle size 4 mm with 1 thread Merino and 1 thread Kid-Silk and work garter st back and forth on needle until piece measures approx 15 cm. On next row cast on 43 new sts each side = 114 sts. Continue back and forth on all sts until piece measures approx 13 cm from where the new sts were cast on. Work next row as follows: K4, * K2 tog, 1 YO, K5 *, repeat from *-* and finish with K2 tog, 1 YO and K3. Continue for another 3 cm and cast off loosely.

ASSEMBLY:
Sew basket tog inside 1 edge st. See Fig.1. Sew A to A, B to B, C to C, and D to D. Sew tog mid back.

CROCHET BORDER:
Crochet a border round the top of basket with 1 thread light pink Silke-Alpaca and crochet hook size 3.5 mm as follows - beg mid back in seam: * 1 dc, 3 ch, 1 tr in the first ch, skip approx 1 cm *, repeat from *-* and finish with 1 sl st in dc from beg of round.

TIE STRING:
Crochet a string of ch measuring approx 75 cm with 2 threads light pink Silke-Alpaca and crochet hook size 5 mm. Cut the thread and tie a knot each end. Thread the string through casing on basket and tie a bow mid front.
