Materials: DROPS SAFRAN from Garnstudio
50 g for all sizes colour no 06, jeans blue

DROPS POINTED NEEDLES size 3 mm –
or size needed to get 24 sts x 48 rows in garter st = 10 x 10 cm.

GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows.

INCREASING TIP: Inc by making 1 YO. Work YO into back of loop on return row to avoid a hole.

----------------------------------------------------------
BIB:
Worked back and forth on needle from top down. Cast on 21-29-37 sts on needle size 3mm with Safran. Insert a marker in the middle st. Work GARTER ST – see above. AT THE SAME TIME inc 1 st on each side of marker on every other row – SEE INCREASING TIP – a total of 23-24-25 times = 67-77-87 sts. Cast off all sts on next row.

EDGE AND TIE STRINGS:
RIGHT SIDE: Pick up 1 st in every other row from the RS along the right side of bib = 24-25-26 sts, then cast on 50-58-66 new sts at the end of row (i.e towards neckline) = 74-83-92 sts. On return row cast off the first 40-44-48 sts (= tie string) = 34-39-44 sts left on row. Work 12 rows garter st and cast off.
LEFT SIDE: Cast on 50-58-66 sts, then pick up 1 st in every other row from the RS along the left side of bib = 74-83-92 sts. Work the first 34-39-44 sts in garter st, and cast off the remaining 40-44-48 sts (= tie string), cut the thread. Work 10 rows garter st on the remaining 34-39-44 sts on row and cast off.
