Size: S/M – M/L
Materials: DROPS Paris from Garnstudio
400-400 g colour no 32, light purple
300-300 g colour no 17, off-white
150-200 g colour no 3, mint
100-100 g colour no 30, blue
50-50 g colour no 31, purple
50-50 g colour no 35, yellow
DROPS circular and double pointed needles size 3.5 and 5 mm - or size needed to obtain 17 sts x 23 rows in stocking st on needle size 5 mm = 10 x 10 cm.
Pattern: See diagram M.1. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS.
Rib: *K1 into back of loop, P1*, repeat from *-*.
Front and back piece: Worked in the round on circular needle. Cast on 158-164 sts on needle size 3.5 mm with light blue and work 5 cm Rib. Change to needle size 5 mm and continue in stocking st, at the same time inc 34-44 sts evenly on first round = 192-208 sts. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 7-9 cm continue as follows: M.1 (beg by arrow A), 3.5 cm light blue, M.1 (beg by arrow B) and then complete piece in light blue. When piece measures 30-32 cm, divide the piece in two and complete front and back pieces separately.
Front piece: = 96-104 sts. When piece measures 55-57 cm cast off the middle 28-28 sts for neck and dec to shape the neckline on every other row: 2 sts 2 times and 1 st 2 times. Cast off remaining sts on shoulder when piece measures 60-62 cm.
Back piece: = 96-104 sts. When piece measures 59-61 cm cast off the middle 36-36 sts for neck and dec 2 sts on neckline on next row. Cast off remaining sts when piece measures 60-62 cm.
Sleeve: Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Cast on 36-40 sts on double pointed needle size 3.5 mm with light blue and work 5 cm Rib. Change to needle size 5 mm and continue in M.2, at the same time inc 13-11 sts evenly on first round = 49-51 sts. At the same time inc 2 sts mid under arm on every * 3rd and 4th * round alternately a total of 26-26 times = 101-103 sts. After M.2 continue in light blue until piece measures 25-24 cm and now work M.1 (make sure to place a pattern repeat mid upper sleeve). After M.1 complete piece in light blue. Cast off when piece measures 51-50 cm. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Pick up 96 sts round neckline on double pointed needles size 3.5 mm with light blue and work 2 cm stocking st, at the same time dec 4 sts evenly along neckline on back piece on first round, change to off-white, work 2 rounds stocking st, P 1 round, 2 cm stocking st. Cast off and fold edge double towards WS and fasten. Set in sleeves.
