DROPS jumper with textured corn pattern in “Muskat”.

Size: S – M - L

Materials: DROPS Muskat from Garnstudio
650-700-700 g colour no 7, pale yellow

DROPS circular and double pointed needles size 2.5 and 4 mm - or size needed to obtain 20 sts x 26 rows in stocking st on needle size 4 mm = 10 x 10 cm.

Pattern: See diagram M.1 to M.3. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS.

Rib: *K2, P2*, repeat from *-*.

Bobble: Inc to 3 sts in 1 st, work 3 rows stocking st on these 3 sts and then K tog all sts to 1 st.

Cable: Worked from RS.
K the second st on left needle but leave it on the needle, P the first st and then slip the 2 sts of the left needle.


Front piece:
Worked back and forth on circ needle.
Cast on 96-100-104 sts on needle size 2.5 mm with pale yellow and work 4 cm Rib. Change to needle size 4 mm, at the same time inc 18-20-22 sts evenly = 114-120-126 sts. Work next row as follows: 9-12-15 stocking st, M.3, 14 stocking sts, M.3, 4 stocking sts, M.2 (= 36 sts), 4 stocking sts, M.3, 14 stocking sts, M.3, 9-12-15 stocking sts. Continue in pattern like this. When piece measures 26-27-27 cm cast off for armhole each side on every other row: 3-3-4 sts 1 time, 1-1-2 sts 1 times. After M.3 work next row as follows (106-112-114 sts on row): 35-38-39 sts of M.1 (beg by arrow A), M.2 (= 36 sts), 35-38-39 sts of M.1 (beg by arrow B). When M.2 is completed work M.1 on all sts until finished measurements. When piece measures 51-52-52 cm cast off the middle 34-34-34 sts for neck and dec to shape the neckline on every other row: 2 sts 2 times and 1 st 3 times. Cast off remaining sts when piece measures 56-57-57 cm.

Back piece: Cast on and work like front piece. When piece measures 54-55-55 cm cast off the middle 42-42-42 sts for neck and dec on every other row: 2 sts 1 time and 1 st 1 time. Cast off as described for front piece.

Sleeve: Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Cast on 44-48-48 sts on double pointed needle size 2.5 mm with pale yellow and work 5 cm Rib. Change to needle size 4 mm, at the same time inc 15-13-13 sts evenly = 59-61-61 sts. Work next round as follows: 9-10-10 stocking sts, M.3, 12 stocking sts, M.3, 12 stocking sts, M.3, 8-9-9 stocking sts. Continue in pattern like this, at the same time inc 2 sts mid under arm a total of 31-31-31 times on every 3rd round = 121-123-123 sts (incorporate inc sts in pattern as you go along). After M.3 continue in M.1 (make sure to place a pattern repeat mid upper sleeve). When piece measures 46-45-45 cm cast off 8-10-10 sts mid under arm and complete piece back and forth on needle. Dec to shape the sleeve cap each side on every other row: 5 sts 7 times and cast off. Piece measures approx 52-51-51 cm.
Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Pick up approx 124 sts round neckline on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm with pale yellow and work 3 cm Rib, at the same time dec 8 sts evenly along neckline on back piece and make 1 bobble in the first st of each P part on the first round. Cast off after the Rib. Sew side seams and set in sleeves.
