DROPS jumper with berry pattern in “Muskat”.

Materials: DROPS Muskat from Garnstudio
500 g, colour no 23, beige
50 g colour no 42, dark green
50 g colour no 30, yellow
50 g colour no 22, brown
50 g colour no 35, dark yellow
50 g colour no 33, heather
50 g colour no 28, mustard
50 g colour no 38, plum
50 g colour no 13, blue
50 g colour no 44, green

DROPS circular and double pointed needles size 2.5 and 4 mm - or size needed to obtain 20 sts x 26 rows in stocking st on needle size 4 mm = 10 x 10 cm.

Pattern: See diagram M.1 to M.6. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS.

Edge: 3 cm stocking st, P 1 round (= folding edge, measure piece from here), 3 cm stocking st.

Front and back piece:
Worked in the round on circular needle.
Cast on 190 sts on needle size 2.5 mm with beige and work Edge. Change to needle size 4 mm and continue in stocking st, at the same time inc 50 sts evenly = 240 sts. Work M.1, then M.2, 16 rounds beige, M.3 (beg by arrow and work pattern on front piece, beg by arrow again and work pattern on back piece), and then complete piece in beige. Remember the knitting tension! At the same time when piece measures 24 cm divide the piece in two and complete front and back pieces separately.

Front piece:
= 120 sts. When piece measures 49 cast off the middle 34 sts for neck and dec to shape the neckline on every other row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 1 time and 1 st 2 times. Cast off when piece measures 54 cm.

Back piece:
= 120 sts. When piece measures 44 cm cast off the middle 44 sts for neck and dec 2 sts on neckline on next row. Cast off as described for front piece.

Sleeve:
Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Cast on 48 sts on double pointed needle size 2.5 mm with beige and work Edge. Change to needle size 4 mm, at the same time inc 12 sts evenly = 60 sts. Continue in M.5, M.4 (make sure to place a pattern repeat mid upper sleeve) and then complete piece in beige. At the same time after the Edge inc 2 sts mid under arm a total of 31 times on every 3rd round = 122 sts. When piece measures 46 cm cast off 10 sts mid under sleeve and complete piece back and forth on needle. Dec to shape the sleeve cap each side on every other row: 10 sts 4 times and cast off. Piece measures approx 50 cm.

Assembly:
Sew shoulder seams. Pick up approx 108 sts round neckline on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm with beige and work M.6, but work diagram from top down, at the same time dec 4 sts evenly along neckline on back piece on first row, change to yellow, work 3 rounds stocking st, P 1 round, 8 rounds stocking st, cast off. Fold all edges towards WS and fasten. Set in sleeves.
