Pattern: See diagram M.1 to M.3. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS.
Rib: *K1, P1*, repeat from *-*.
Body: The jumper is knitted in the round on circular needle. Numbers in ( ) refer to Muskat. Cast on 160-164 (186-194) sts on circular needle size 3.5 (2.5) mm with yellow and work 3 cm Rib. Change to circular needle size 5 (4) mm, at the same time inc 38-52 (48-58) sts evenly on first round = 198-216 (234-252) sts. Continue in M.1 – beg by arrow. Remember the knitting tension! After M.1 continue in yellow. When piece measures 25-26 (25-26) cm divide the piece in two and complete front and back pieces separately.
Front piece: = 99-108 (117-126) sts. When piece measures 39-40 (41-42) cm work M.2, but from top down (beg by arrow). After M.2 continue in M.3, but work the pattern diagram from top down (beg by the same arrow as for M.2). After M.3 complete piece in purple. At the same time when piece measures 50-51 (50-51) cm cast off the middle 27-28 (36-36) sts mid front for neck and complete each side separately. Dec to shape the neckline on every other row: 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 2 times for all sizes and both yarn qualities. Cast off remaining sts on shoulder when piece measures 55-56 (55-56) cm.
Back piece: = 99-108 (117-126) sts. Continue in pattern as described for front piece. When piece measures 54-55 (54-55) cm cast off the middle 35-36 (43-44) sts for neck and dec 2 sts on neckline on next row. Cast off when piece measures 55-56 (55-56) cm.
Sleeve: Cast on 36-40 (44-48) sts on double pointed needles size 3.5 (2.5) mm with yellow and work 3 cm Rib. Change to double pointed needles size 5 (4) mm and work M.1 (make sure to place a pattern repeat mid upper sleeve), at the same time inc 12-10 (14-12) sts evenly = 48-50 (58-60) sts. At the same time inc 2 sts mid under arm a total of 27-27 (32-32) times on every 3rd and 4th round alternately (on every 3rd round) = 102-104 (122-124) sts. After M.1 complete piece in yellow. When piece measures 47-46 (47-46) cm cast off 6 (10) sts mid under arm and complete piece back and forth on needle. Dec each side to shape the sleeve cap on every other row: 10 sts 2 times (12 sts 3 times). Cast off when piece measures 50-49 (50-49) cm.
Assembly. Sew the shoulder seams. Pick up approx 90 (100) sts round the neck on needle size 3.5 (2.5) mm with yellow and work 2 cm stocking st, change to purple, work 2 rounds stocking st, work next round as follows: * K2 tog, 1 YO *(= folding edge), 2 cm stocking st, cast off. Fold edge double towards the WS and fasten. Set in sleeves, sew in outer loops of sts to avoid a chunky seam.
