Materials: DROPS Muskat from Garnstudio
550-600-600 g colour no 36, blue
100-100-150 g colour no 3, mint
100-100-100 g colour no 4, dark purple
100-100-100 g colour no 5, purple
50-50-50 g colour no 20, light mint

DROPS circular and double pointed needles size 2.5 and 4 mm, or size needed to get 20 sts x 26 rows in stocking st on needle size 4 mm = 10 x 10 cm.

Pattern: See diagram. The diagram is seen from the RS and the entire pattern is worked in stocking st.

Edge: 3 cm stocking st, P 1 round (= folding edge, measure piece from here), 3 cm stocking st.

LONG VERSION: Increase materials by 50 g blue. Inc measurements for armhole, neckline and the last repeat of M.2 by 14-14-14 cm, finished length = 69-70-70 cm. Work pattern as described below, but work 5 cm blue (instead of 3.5 cm) between each repeat of M.3 and work 4 repeats of M.3 and finish with M.2.

Body:
The jumper is worked in the round on circular needle. Cast on 184-190-196 sts on circular needle size 2.5 mm with blue and work Edge. Change to circular needle size 4 mm and work 1 round stocking st, at the same time inc 44-50-56 sts evenly = 228-240-252 sts. Remember the knitting tension! Continue in M.1, M.2, M.3 and then blue until piece measures 29.5-30-30 cm. Now work M.3. At the same time when piece measures 25-26-26 cm divide the piece in 2 and complete front and back pieces separately.

Front piece: = 114-120-126 sts. After M.3 continue in blue until piece measures 40-40.5-40.5 cm. Now work M.3 again and then continue in blue. When piece measures 50-51-51 cm cast off the middle 32-34-34 sts for neck and complete each side separately. Cast off to shape the neckline at the beg of every row from mid front: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 1 time, 1 st 2 times. At the same time when piece measures 51-52-53 cm complete piece in M.2 and cast off remaining sts on shoulder when piece measures 55-56-56 cm.

Back piece: = 114-120-126 sts. Continue in pattern as described for front piece. When piece measures 53-54-54 cm cast off the middle 42-44-44 sts for neck and cast off 2 sts on neckline on next row. Cast off remaining sts on shoulder when piece measures 55-56-56 cm.

Sleeve: Cast on 46-46-48 sts on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm with blue and work Edge. Change to double pointed needles size 4 mm and continue in M.1 (beg on row 17, i.e. work first row with pattern in dark purple), at the same time inc 12-14-12 sts evenly = 58-60-60 sts. At the same time inc 2 sts mid under arm a total of 31-31-31 times on * every 3rd and 4th round * alternately = 120-122-122 sts. When piece measures 45-44-44 cm (adjust to M.1) work M.4. Cast off after M.4, piece measures approx 49-48-48 cm.

Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Pick up approx 110 sts around the neck on needle size 2.5 mm with blue and work 2 cm stocking st, change to purple, 1 round stocking st, P 1 round, 2 cm stocking st, cast off. Fold all edges double towards WS and fasten. Set in sleeves.
