Continue in M.3, at the same time inc 1 st of each side of both markers on every 3 row a total of 12 times = 254-272 sts – incorporate inc sts in pattern as you go along. Remember your knitting tension! When piece measures 20-20 cm work next row as follows: 63-67 sts = front piece, cast off 4-5 sts for armhole, 120-128 sts = back piece, cast off 4-5 sts for armhole, 63-67 sts = front piece. Now complete each piece separately.

When piece measures 30 cm cast off to shape the neckline at the beg of every row from mid front: 8 sts 1 time, 3 sts 2 times, 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 3 times, then on every other row from mid front: 1 st 5 times, and then on every 6th row: 1 st 2 times. Cast off remaining sts on shoulder when piece measures 50 cm.

Cast off as described for front piece.

Sleeves: Cast on 54-54 sts on double pointed needle size 2.5 mm and work 1.5 cm moss st. Change to needle size 3.5 mm and continue in M.2 (place a pattern repeat mid upper sleeve. At the same time inc 2 sts mid under arm a total of 42-42 times on every 3rd round = 138-138 sts – incorporate inc sts in pattern as you go along. After M.2 complete piece in M.3. When piece measures 47-48 cm cast off 10 sts mid under arm and complete piece back and forth on needle. Cast off each side to shape the sleeve cap on every other row: 9 sts 6 times, cast off remaining sts. Sleeve measures approx 52-53 cm.

Assembly: Join shoulders. Crochet a row of dc round the opening of jacket and round sleeve edges with crochet hook size 2.5 mm as follows: approx 115 dc along back piece, approx 58 dc on each front piece, approx 72 dc on each front band, approx 57 dc on each front neckline, approx 48 dc on back neckline and approx 56 dc round each sleeve edge.
Now crochet a border as follows (beg at the side): * 1 dc, 1 dc, 4 ch, 1 dc in the first ch, skip 1 dc, 1 dc *, repeat from *-*.
At the same time make 5 buttonhole loops evenly distributed on right front piece by replacing the second dc in repeat with 1 ch. Repeat second row round sleeve edges. Set in sleeves and sew on buttons.
