Materials: DROPS Paris from Garnstudio
500-550 g colour no 30, blue
150-200 g colour no 38, coral
150-150 g colour no 12, red
100-100 g colour no 3, green
100-100 g colour no 35, yellow
100-100 g colour no 6, pink
50-100 g colour no 1, salmon

DROPS circular and double pointed needles size 3.5 and 5 mm - or size needed to obtain 17 sts x 23 rows in stocking st on needle size 5 mm = 10 x 10 cm.

Pattern: See diagram. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS.

Rib: *K1, P1*, repeat from *-*.

Body: The jumper is worked in the round on circular needle and cut for armholes afterwards. Cast on 158-162 sts on circular needle size 3.5 mm with blue and work 5 cm Rib. Change to circular needle size 5 mm and continue in stocking st, at the same time inc 40-54 sts evenly on first round = 198-216 sts. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 13-15 cm continue in M.1, and then M.2. At the same time when piece measures 30-32 cm inc 4 sts each side (to be cut for armhole afterwards and not included in pattern). After M.2 continue in blue until piece measures 44-46 cm. Now complete piece in M.3. When piece measures 55-57 cm cast off the middle 27-28 sts mid front for neck and complete piece back and forth on needle. Cast off to shape the neckline on every other row: 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 2 times. When piece measures 59-61 cm cast off the middle 37-38 sts for neck mid back and cast off 1 st on neckline on next row. Cast off after M.3, piece measures approx 60-62 cm.

Sleeve: Cast on 36-40 sts on double pointed needles size 3.5 mm with blue and work 5 cm Rib. Change to double pointed needles size 5 mm and continue in stocking st, at the same time inc 14-12 sts evenly on first round = 50-52 sts. At the same time after the rib inc 2 sts mid under arm a total of 26-26 times on every *3rd and 4th * round alternately = 102-104 sts. At the same time when piece measures 16-15 cm continue in pattern as follows: M.1, M.2, blue until piece measures 47-46 cm, M.4. When piece measures 49-48 cm work 2 cm in reverse stocking st (for sewing sleeve to body piece). Cast off

Assembly: Insert a marking thread in the middle of the inc sts for armhole. Sew 2 seams on a sewing machine around the marking thread, 1st seam = ½ st from the MT, 2nd seam = ½ st from the 1st seam. Cut for armholes. Sew the shoulder seams. Pick up approx 96 sts round the neck on double pointed needles size 3.5 mm with blue and work 2 cm stocking st, change to coral, 2 rounds stocking st, change to red, P 1 round, 2 cm stocking st, cast off and fold edge double towards WS and fasten. Set in sleeves as follows: sew the last row in stocking st on sleeves to row after machine seam on armhole. Turn jumper inside out and fasten piece in reverse stocking st on sleeve to body piece.
