-------------------------------------------------------

SIZES:
XS - S - M - L - XL - XXL - XXXL

YARN:
DROPS ALPACA BOUCLÉ from Garnstudio (belongs to yarn group C)
200-200-250-250-300-300-350 g colour 5110, Light Grey
And use:
DROPS KID-SILK from Garnstudio (belongs to yarn group A)
75-75-75-100-100-100-125 g colour 44, Moonlight

NEEDLES:
DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE SIZE 6 MM: Length 40 cm and 80 cm.
DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE SIZE 4.5 MM: Length 40 cm and 80 cm.
DROPS DOUBLE POINTED NEEDLES SIZE 4.5 MM.
The technique MAGIC LOOP can be used – you then only need 80 cm circular needle in each size.

KNITTING TENSION:
14 stitches in width and 17 rows in height with stocking stitch and 1 strand of each quality on needle size 6 mm = 10 x 10 cm.
REMEMBER: The needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm, change to a smaller needle size.

EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN:

-------------------------------------------------------

RAGLAN:
Increase 1 stitch by making 1 yarn over, which is worked as follows on the next round:
BEFORE RAGLAN-STITCH (yarn over twists to the right):
Slip the yarn-over purl-wise from the left to the right needle, place it back onto the left needle by inserting the left needle through the back (the yarn over is now the other way round). Knit through the stitch-loop that lies on the front of the needle (avoids a hole).
AFTER RAGLAN-STITCH (yarn over twists to the left):
Knit through the stitch-loop that lies on the back of the needle (avoids a hole).

SLEEVE TIP:
When knitting up stitches under the sleeve, you can be left with a small hole in the transition between stitches on the body and sleeve. This hole can be closed by picking up the strand between 2 stitches and working this strand twisted together with the first stitch between the body and sleeve.

START THE PIECE HERE:

-------------------------------------------------------

JUMPER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
The pattern uses both long and short needles; start with the length which fits the number of stitches and change when necessary.
The neck and yoke are worked in the round with circular needle, top down and from the right back shoulder, increasing for raglan. When the yoke is finished, it is divided for the body and sleeve-edges and the body is continued in the round, while the sleeve-edges wait. The sleeve-edges are worked top down, in the round to finish.

NECK:
Cast on 68-72-76-76-80-84-88 stitches with circular needle size 4.5 mm, 1 strand DROPS Alpaca Bouclé and 1 strand DROPS Kid-Silk (2 strands). Work rib in the round (knit 1 and purl 1) for 4-4-4-4½-4½-5-5 cm.
The round begins on the right back shoulder. Insert 1 marker after the first 25-26-27-27-28-29-30 stitches (approx. mid-front), the piece is now measured from here.

YOKE:
Change to circular needle size 6 mm. Insert 4 markers, without working the stitches and inserting each marker in a stitch (the raglan-stitches) and you increase for raglan on each side of the raglan-stitches.

Insert marker-1 in the first stitch, count 17 stitches (= sleeve),
insert marker-2 in the next stitch, count 15-17-19-19-21-23-25 stitches (= front-piece),
insert marker-3 in the next stitch, count 17 stitches (= sleeve),
insert marker-4 in the next stitch, there are 15-17-19-19-21-23-25 stitches left (= back piece).
Continue stocking stitch in the round and increase for RAGLAN as follows – read explanation above for how to increase.

ROUND 1: Knit and increase for raglan on each side of the raglan-stitches (8 increased stitches).
ROUND 2: Knit (remember to work the yarn overs as described under RAGLAN).
Work ROUNDS 1 and 2 a total of 10-13-17-15-18-16-16 times (20-26-34-30-36-32-32 rounds worked) = 148-176-212-196-224-212-216 stitches. Remember to maintain the knitting tension.

Now increase as follows:
ROUND 1: Knit and increase for raglan on each side on each side of the raglan-stitches (8 increased stitches).
ROUND 2: Knit (remember to work the yarn overs as described under RAGLAN).
ROUND 3: Knit and increase for raglan on the front and back pieces, i.e., after markers 2 and 4 and before markers 3 and 1; do not increase on the sleeves (4 increased stitches).
ROUND 4: Knit.
Work ROUNDS 1 to 4 a total of 5-4-2-4-3-5-6 times (20-16-8-16-12-20-24 rounds worked; 5-4-2-4-3-5-6 increases in height on the sleeves and 10-8-4-8-6-10-12 increases in height on the front and back pieces) = 208-224-236-244-260-272-288 stitches.

All increases for raglan are finished; a total of 20-21-21-23-24-26-28 increases in height on the front and back pieces and 15-17-19-19-21-21-22 increases in height on the sleeves. The yoke measures approx. 24-25-25-27-28-31-33 cm from the marker mid-front. Now divide for the body and sleeves.

DIVIDE FOR BODY AND SLEEVES
When dividing, the raglan-stitches will end up on the front and back pieces.
Knit 4-4-4-4-5-5-5 (these stitches belong to the back piece), place the next 39-43-47-47-49-49-51 stitches on a stitch holder for the sleeve, cast on 8-10-12-14-16-18-20 stitches (mid-under the sleeve), knit 65-69-71-75-81-87-93 stitches (front piece), place the next 39-43-47-47-49-49-51 stitches on a stitch holder for the sleeve, cast on 8-10-12-14-16-18-20 stitches (mid-under the sleeve), knit the last 61-65-67-71-76-82-88 stitches (= back piece). The body and sleeves are finished separately.

BODY:
= 146-158-166-178-194-210-226 stitches. Continue stocking stitch in the round until the piece measures 45-47-49-51-53-54-56 cm from the marker mid-front.
Change to circular needle size 4.5 mm. Work rib (knit 1 and purl 1), AT THE SAME TIME increase 30-32-34-40-40-46-50 stitches evenly on the first round = 176-190-200-218-234-256-276 stitches.
When the rib measures 3-3-3-3-3-4-4 cm, cast off with rib.
The jumper measures approx. 48-50-52-54-56-58-60 cm from the marker mid-front and 54-56-58-60-62-64-66 cm from the shoulder.

SLEEVE-EDGES:
Place the 39-43-47-47-49-49-51 sleeve-stitches from one stitch holder onto circular needle size 6 mm and knit up 1 stitch in each of the 8-10-12-14-16-18-20 cast-on stitches under the sleeve – read SLEEVE TIP = 47-53-59-61-65-67-71 stitches. Insert a marker-thread in the middle of the 8-10-12-14-16-18-20 new stitches under the sleeve. The round starts by the marker-thread.
Knit 1 round.
Change to double pointed needles size 4.5 mm. Work rib in the round (knit 1 and purl 1), AT THE SAME TIME increase 7-9-9-11-11-11-11 stitches evenly on the first round = 54-62-68-72-76-78-82 stitches.
When the rib measures 3-3-3-3-3-4-4 cm, cast off with rib.
