START THE PIECE HERE:

----------------------------------------------------------

POTHOLDER: – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
Worked in the round on a short circular needle, bottom up. Work a little loop at the end, before sewing piece together at the top and at the bottom.

POTHOLDER:
Cast on 80 stitches on short circular needle size 3 mm with colour Almond in DROPS Muskat.
Purl 1 round. Insert 1 marker in 1st stitch on round, and 1 marker in 41st stitch on round (= in the side). Work A.1 2 times in total on round. Continue pattern until A.1 has been worked has vertically. Remember to follow the knitting tension!
Then work as follows with colour Almond. Purl 1 round - AT THE SAME TIME at the end of this round cast on 24 new stitches on needle (= loop) = 104 stitches.
Turn piece, cast off the 24 stitches that were cast on, and then cast off the remaining 80 stitches by purling from wrong side. Fold the potholder double so that the stitches with markers are in the sides on potholder. Sew the potholder neatly together at the bottom with little stitches – sew inside the cast-on edge. Sew the potholder tog at the top the same way. NOTE! The 24 new stitches = loop, sew the end of the loop to the corner of the potholder.
