EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN:
----------------------------------------------------------
STRIPES:
Continue in colour sand until piece measures 3-4-4-4-5-5 cm from marker mid front.
Work with colour aquamarine for 5-5-6-6-7-7 cm.
Work with colour curry - after division work stripes in different length on body and sleeves - until stripe measures 7-8-8-9-9-10 cm in total on body and 8-9-10-11-11-12 cm in total on sleeves.
Work with colour sea green until stripe measures 3-3-3-4-4-5 cm on body and 4-4-4-5-6-7 cm on sleeves.
Work with colour white until stripe measures 4-5-5-6-7-8 cm on body and 5-7-7-8-9-10 cm on sleeves.
Work with colour powder pink until working rib at the bottom of body and sleeves.
Work ribs in colour aquamarine.
RAGLAN:
Increase 1 stitch by making 1 yarn over, on next round knit yarns over as explained below:
BEFORE RAGLAN STITCHES:
Slip stitch off left needle and put it back on left needle but the opposite way (insert left needle in from behind when slipping it back on needle). Knit yarn overs in front loop of stitches to avoid holes. Then work the new stitches in stocking stitch.
AFTER RAGLAN STITCHES:
Knit yarn overs in back loop of stitches to avoid holes. Then work the new stitches in stocking stitch.
STRIPE TIP:
To get a nicer transition at the beginning and end of round when working stripes,
work as follows:
Switch to new colour and work 1 round. Work first stitch on 2nd round as follows:
Slip first stitch from previous round on to needle, knit this stitch together with first stitch on left needle.
SLEEVE TIP:
When picking up stitches mid under sleeve, there will be a small hole in the transition between stitches on body and sleeves. The holes can be closed by picking up the strand between two stitches - work this strand twisted together with the first stitch between body and sleeve so that the holes closes.
DECREASE TIP:
Decrease 1 stitch on each side of marker thread as follows:
Work until 3 stitches remain before marker thread, knit 2 together, knit 2 (marker thread is in the middle of these 2 stitches), slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over stitch worked (= 2 stitches decreased).

JUMPER - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
In this pattern needles of different length have been used, begin with fitting length for number of stitches and switch as needed.
Work neck edge and yoke in the round on circular needle from right shoulder back, and work top down. When yoke is done, divide piece for body and sleeves. Work body downwards in the round on circular needle while putting the sleeves aside. Then work sleeves downwards in the round on needle.
If 0 is given for the chosen size, it means that you skip the information until next information.
NECK EDGE:
Cast on 84-88-92-96-100-104 stitches on circular needle size 4 mm with colour sand in DROPS Sky. Switch to circular needle size 3 mm and work rib in the round (= knit 1/purl 1) for 2-2-3-3-3-3 cm.
Beginning of round is at right shoulder at the back. Insert 1 marker after the first 28-29-30-31-32-33 stitches on round (= approx. mid front), measures piece from this marker.
YOKE:
Continue with circular needle size 4 mm. Insert 4 marker threads in the piece while AT THE SAME TIME working first round, insert markers between 2 stitches, and these 2 stitches are called raglan stitches.
Insert 1st marker thread at the beginning of round, work 13 stitches (= sleeve),
Insert 2nd marker thread before next stitch, work 29-31-33-35-37-39 stitches AT THE SAME TIME increase 0-0-0-0-0-2 stitches evenly over these (= front piece),
insert 3rd marker thread before next stitch, work 13 stitches (= sleeve),
insert 4th marker thread before next stitch, work the 29-31-33-35-37-39 remaining stitches AT THE SAME TIME increase 0-0-0-0-0-2 stitches evenly over these (= back piece) = 84-88-92-96-100-108 stitches.
Work in the round in stocking stitch and STRIPES – read explanation above, AT THE SAME TIME increase for RAGLAN on each side of raglan stitches - read explanation above (= 8 stitches increased) – read STRIPE TIP. Increase for raglan every other round 17-17-18-19-20-21 times in total = 220-224-236-248-260-276 stitches. Remember to follow the knitting tension!
Continue with stocking stitch and stripes without increase until piece measures 13-14-15-16-17-18 cm from marker mid front. Now divide yoke for body and sleeves.
DIVIDING FOR BODY AND SLEEVES:
AT THE SAME TIME as next round is worked divide yoke for body and sleeves as follows: Slip the first 47-47-49-51-53-55 stitches on a thread for sleeve, cast on 4-6-6-6-6-6 new stitches on needle (= in the side mid under sleeve), work 63-65-69-73-77-83 stitches in stocking stitch (= front piece), slip the next 47-47-49-51-53-55 stitches on a thread for sleeve, cast on 4-6-6-6-6-6 new stitches on needle (= in the side mid under sleeve), and work in stocking stitch over the last 63-65-69-73-77-83 stitches (= back piece). Finish body and sleeves separately.
BODY:
= 134-142-150-158-166-178 stitches. Insert 1 marker in one side of piece (= in the middle of the 4-6-6-6-6-6 stitches that were cast on under sleeve). Work until marker, round begins here and work in the round.
Work in stocking stitch with stripes as before until piece measures 26-29-31-35-39-43 cm from marker mid front.
Switch to circular needles size 3 mm and colour aquamarine, work rib (= knit 1/purl 1) while AT THE SAME TIME increasing 28-30-32-32-34-34 stitches evenly on 1st round = 162-172-182-190-200-212 stitches.
When rib measures 3-3-4-4-4-4 cm cast off.
Jumper measures 29-32-35-39-43-47 cm from marker mid front and approx. 32-35-38-42-46-50 cm from the top of shoulder.
SLEEVES:
Slip 47-47-49-51-53-55 sleeve stitches from one thread on to circular needle size 4 mm, use colour curry and pick in addition up 1 stitch in each of the 4-6-6-6-6-6 stitches cast on under sleeve - read SLEEVE TIP = 51-53-55-57-59-61 stitches.
Insert 1 marker thread in the middle of the 4-6-6-6-6-6 new stitches under sleeve - round begins at the marker thread.
Work in stocking stitch with STRIPES in the round on needle - AT THE SAME TIME when sleeve measures 2 cm from division, decrease mid under sleeve – read DECREASE TIP and decrease as follows: Decrease 2 stitches every 2½-3-4½-5-6-7 cm 6-6-5-5-5-5 times in total = 39-41-45-47-49-51 stitches.
Work until sleeve measures 18-22-24-28-31-35 cm from division.
Switch to double pointed needles size 3 mm and colour aquamarine, work rib (= knit 1/purl 1) while AT THE SAME TIME increasing 3 stitches evenly on 1st round = 42-44-48-50-52-54 stitches.
When rib measures 3-3-4-4-4-4 cm, cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl. Sleeve measures approx. 21-25-28-32-35-39 cm from division.
