EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN:
----------------------------------------------------------
DECREASE TIP-1 (evenly):
To calculate how to decrease evenly, use the total number of stitches on row (e.g. 68 stitches) and divide stitches by number of decreases to be done (e.g. 3) = 22.6. In this example decrease by knitting approx. every 22nd and 23rd stitch together.
PATTERN:
See diagram A.1.
SLEEVE TIP:
When picking up stitches mid under sleeve, there will be a small hole in the transition between stitches on body and sleeves. The holes can be closed by picking up the strand between two stitches - work this strand twisted together with the first stitch between body and sleeve so that the holes closes.
DECREASE TIP-2:
Decrease 1 stitch on each side of marker thread as follows:
Work until 3 stitches remain before marker thread and knit 2 together, knit 2 (marker thread is in the middle of these 2 stitches), slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over stitch worked (= 2 stitches decreased).

JUMPER - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
In this pattern needles of different length have been used, begin with fitting length for number of stitches and switch as needed.
Work neck edge and yoke in the round on circular needle from right shoulder back, and work top down. When yoke is done, divide piece for body and sleeves. Work body downwards in the round on circular needle while putting the sleeves aside. Then work sleeves downwards in the round on needle.
NECK EDGE:
Cast on 68-72-76-82-84-86 stitches on circular needle size 4 mm with DROPS Air. Work rib in the round (= knit 1/purl 1) for 3-3-4-4-4-4 cm.
Beginning of round is at right shoulder at the back. Insert 1 marker after the first 23-24-25-27-28-29 stitches on round (= approx. mid front), measures piece from this marker.
YOKE:
Switch to circular needle size 5 mm, and work 1 round in stocking stitch while decreasing 3-2-1-2-4-1 stitches evenly – read DECREASE TIP-1 = 65-70-75-80-80-85 stitches.
Then work in stocking stitch. Remember to follow the knitting tension! When yoke measures 2-2-2-2-2-3 cm from marker, work PATTERN - read explanation above, work A.1 13-14-15-16-16-17 times in total in the round on yoke = 91-98-105-112-112-119 stitches. On next round decrease 1-3-5-7-7-4 stitches evenly - remember DECREASE TIP-1 = 90-95-100-105-105-115 stitches.
Continue in stocking stitch until piece measures 6-6-7-7-7-8 cm from marker. Work A.1 18-19-20-21-21-23 times in total in the round on yoke = 126-133-140-147-147-161 stitches. On next round decrease 6-3-5-7-2-6 stitches evenly - remember DECREASE TIP-1 = 120-130-135-140-145-155 stitches.
When piece measures 10-11-12-12-13-13 cm from marker, work A.1 24-26-27-28-29-31 times in total in the round on yoke = 168-182-189-196-203-217 stitches. On next round decrease 4-6-1-0-3-5 stitches evenly - remember DECREASE TIP-1 = 164-176-188-196-200-212 stitches.
Work in stocking stitch. When yoke measures 12-13-14-14-15-16 cm from marker mid front, divide piece for body and sleeves.
DIVIDING FOR BODY AND SLEEVES:
AT THE SAME TIME as next round is worked divide yoke for body and sleeves as follows: Slip the first 34-36-38-40-40-42 stitches on a thread for sleeve, cast on 6-6-6-6-8-8 new stitches on needle (= in the side mid under sleeve), work 48-52-56-58-60-64 stitches in stocking stitch (= front piece), slip the next 34-36-38-40-40-42 stitches on a thread for sleeve, cast on 6-6-6-6-8-8 new stitches on needle (= in the side mid under sleeve), and work in stocking stitch over the last 48-52-56-58-60-64 stitches (= back piece). Work body and sleeves separately and beginning of round is in the transition between body and sleeve.
BODY:
= 108-116-124-128-136-144 stitches.
Work stocking stitch until piece measures 26-29-32-35-39-41 cm from marker mid front.
Switch to circular needles size 4 mm, work rib (= knit 1/purl 1) while AT THE SAME TIME increasing 14-14-14-16-14-16 stitches evenly on 1st round = 122-130-138-144-152-160 stitches.
When rib measures 3-3-4-4-4-4 cm, cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl. Jumper measures 29-32-36-39-43-45 cm from marker mid front and approx. 33-36-40-44-48-50 cm from the top of shoulder.
SLEEVES:
Slip 34-36-38-40-40-42 sleeve stitches from one thread on to circular needle size 5 mm and pick in addition up 1 stitch in each of the 6-6-6-6-8-8 stitches cast on under sleeve - read SLEEVE TIP = 40-42-44-46-48-50 stitches.
Insert 1 marker thread in the middle of the 6-6-6-6-8-8 new stitches under sleeve - round begins at the marker thread.
Work in stocking stitch in the round on needle - AT THE SAME TIME when sleeve measures 3 cm from division, decrease mid under sleeve – read DECREASE TIP-2 and decrease as follows: Decrease 2 stitches every 7-6½-7-8-10-11 cm 3-4-4-4-4-4 times in total = 34-34-36-38-40-42 stitches.
Work until sleeve measures 21-26-28-33-37-41 cm from division.
Switch to double pointed needles size 4 mm and work rib (= knit 1/purl 1) while AT THE SAME TIME increasing 4-4-4-4-4-4 stitches evenly on 1st round = 38-38-40-42-44-46 stitches.
When rib measures 3-3-4-4-4-4 cm, cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl. Sleeve measures approx. 24-29-32-37-41-45 cm from division.
