START THE PIECE HERE:
-------------------------------------------------------
TOP - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
The pattern uses both long and short needles; start with the length which fits the number of stitches and change when necessary.
The neck and yoke are worked in the round, with circular needle, top down and from the right back shoulder. When the increases for the shoulders are finished, the piece is divided for the front and back pieces which are continued separately, back and forth, as far as the armholes. The 2 sections are then joined and the body finished in the round.
If there is a «0» in your chosen size, skip the information and go straight to the next instruction.
NECKLINE:
Cast on a little loosely 90-90-94-100-104-104 stitches with circular needle size 4.5 mm and DROPS Alpaca Bouclé. Knit 1 round and decrease 10-10-10-12-12-12 stitches evenly on this round = 80-80-84-88-92-92 stitches.
YOKE:
Insert 2 markers, without working the stitches and inserting them between 2 stitches - they are used when working the shoulders: Insert 1 marker at the beginning of the round and 1 marker after the first 40-40-42-44-46-46 stitches (top of shoulders).
DIAGONAL SHOULDERS:
Continue with stocking stitch in the round, increasing 4 stitches on the round as follows:
Increase 1 stitch when there is 1 stitch left BEFORE each marker and increase 1 stitch when you have worked 1 stitch AFTER each marker – read INCREASE TIP-1.
Increase every round a total of 13-13-13-14-14-15 times = 132-132-136-144-148-152 stitches. Remember to maintain the knitting tension. After the last increase, the yoke measures approx. 6-6-6-6-6-7 cm from the cast-on edge. Now divide for the front and back pieces.
