50 g colour 0100, off white
DROPS KID-SILK from Garnstudio (belongs to yarn group A)
25 g colour 01, off white
Colour option 2:
DROPS LIMA from Garnstudio (belongs to yarn group B)
50 g colour 0100, off white

25 g colour 45, soft mint
ACCESSORIES:
Some cotton wool for filling
String or left-over yarn for strap.
1 ball weighs approx. 18 g without filling.
NEEDLES:
DROPS DOUBLE POINTED NEEDLES SIZE 4 mm
KNITTING TENSION:
19 stitches in width and 25 rows vertically on needle size 4 mm = 10 x 10 cm.
NOTE! Remember that needle size is only a suggestion. If you have too many stitches on 10 cm switch to larger needles. If you have too few stitches on 10 cm switch to smaller needles.

START THE PIECE HERE:

CHRISTMAS TREE BALL - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
Worked in the round on double pointed needles, top down. Then increase and decrease as shown in diagram.
CHRISTMAS TREE BALL:
Cast on 6 stitches on double pointed needles size 4 mm with 1 strand DROPS Lima and 1 strand DROPS Kid-Silk (= 2 strands). Work A.1 in the round over all stitches, i.e. work A.1 6 times on round.
When A.1 has been worked 1 time vertically, there are 6 stitches on needles. Cut the yarn, pull yarn through the remaining stitches, but do not tighten yarn. Fill the ball with some cotton wool, tighten and fasten the strand.
STRAP:
Cut an optional string or some left-over yarn of approx. 20 cm, thread it through the top of the ball and tie a knot at the top.
