Sew small French knots evenly on the cap with colour pearl.

Fill both the stalk and the cap with a little wadding.
Place the cap on the stalk, with the beginning of the round matching on both pieces. Hold the piece with the cap towards you. Crochet together, using colour bordeaux and 1 double crochet in each stitch through both layers – at the same time work 2 double crochets in every 3rd stitch to avoid the join being tight. Cut and fasten the strand.

LOOP:
Use hook size 3.5 mm and colour bordeaux. Work as follows: Insert the hook through a stitch mid-top of the cap, pull the strand through so you have a loop on the hook, work 20 chain stitches, then fasten the loop with 1 slip stitch mid-top of cap. Cut and fasten the strand.
