POT HOLDER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
The piece is worked in the round with short circular needle, bottom up. The loop is worked before sewing the potholder together, bottom and top.

POT HOLDER:
Cast on 80 stitches with short circular needle size 3 mm and colour light beige DROPS Cotton Light.
Work in the round as follows: 1 purled round, 1 knitted round. Then work 3 rounds of MOSS STITCH – read description above. Insert 1 marker in the first stitch and 1 marker in the 41st stitch on the round (sides). Work A.1, 10 times on the round. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!
When A.1 is finished, continue as follows with light beige: 3 rounds of moss stitch, 1 knitted round and 1 purled round – AT THE SAME TIME at the end of the last round cast on 20 stitches for the loop = 100 stitches.
Turn, cast off the 20 new stitches, then cast off the remaining stitches with purl from wrong side.

Lay the piece flat, with the markers on each side. Sew the bottom together inside the cast-on edge, with small stitches. Sew the top together in the same way, fastening the end of the loop in the corner. Cut and fasten the strand. Work one more pot holder in the same way.
