Fits head-size approx.: 54/58 cm.
YARN:
DROPS MERINO EXTRA FINE from Garnstudio (belongs to yarn group B)
100 g colour 53, moss green
And use:
DROPS KID-SILK from Garnstudio (belongs to yarn group A)
25 g colour 19, dark green
NEEDLES:
DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE SIZE 3 MM: Length 40 cm
DROPS DOUBLE POINTED NEEDLES SIZE 3 MM.
The technique MAGIC LOOP can be used – you then only need 80 cm circular needle.
KNITTING TENSION:
20 stitches in width and 27 rows in height with stocking stitch and 1 strand of each quality = 10 x 10 cm.
NOTE: Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm, change to a smaller needle size.

HAT – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
The piece is worked in the round with the short circular needle/double pointed needles, bottom up, with rib.
HAT:
Cast on 100 stitches with short circular needle size 3 mm, 1 strand DROPS Merino Extra Fine and 1 strand DROPS Kid-Silk (2 strands). Work rib (knit 2, purl 2). REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!
Continue working until the piece measures 24 cm.
Now work A.1 over all stitches. When A.1 is finished in height, there are 40 stitches left. On the next round knit all stitches together 2 and 2 = 20 stitches. Knit 1 round, then knit all stitches together, 1 more time = 10 stitches.
Cut the strand, pull it through the remaining stitches, tighten and fasten well. The hat measures approx. 32 cm. Fold the bottom 5 cm up twice to the right side.
