WRIST-WARMERS - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
The piece is worked in the round with double pointed needles, bottom up.

WRIST-WARMERS:
Cast on 22-24 stitches with double pointed needle size 7 mm and DROPS Andes. Work stocking stitch in the round. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!
When the piece measures 9-10 cm, increase 1 stitch on each side of the first stitch on the round for the thumb-gusset – read INCREASE TIP = 24-26 stitches. Work 3 rounds without increasing. On the next round increase 1 stitch on each side of 3 stitches (first stitch on round + 2 increased stitches) = 26-28 stitches. Continue with stocking stitch until the piece measures 16-17 cm.
On the next round, place the 5 thumb-stitches on 1 thread. Continue with stocking stitch in the round and cast on 1 stitch behind the thumb-stitches = 22-24 stitches. Work until the piece measures 21-22 cm. Cast off.

THUMB:
Place the 5 stitches from the thread on double pointed needles size 7 mm and knit up 3-4 stitches behind the thumb = 8-9 stitches. Knit 1 round. Cast off.

Work the other wrist-warmer in the same way but, when increasing for the thumb-gusset, increase on each side of the last stitch on the round.
