EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN:
-------------------------------------------------------
CHAIN STITCH:
If you work outermost on the hook the chain stitch will often be too tight; 1 chain stitch should be as long as 1 double/treble/double-treble crochet is wide.
PATTERN:
See diagram A.1.
CROCHET INFORMATION:
Each round of treble crochets starts with 3 chain stitches, which count as the first treble crochet, and finishes with 1 slip stitch in the 3rd chain stitch.

START THE PIECE HERE:
-------------------------------------------------------
STAR – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
The piece is worked in the round, from the middle outwards.
STAR:
Work 5 CHAIN STITCHES with hook size 2.5 mm and 2 strands DROPS Kid-Silk. Form them into a ring with 1 slip stitch in the first chain stitch. Continue according to A.1. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! Read CROCHET INFORMATION. When A.1 has been completed, crochet 1 slip stitch in the slip stitch on the top, cut and fasten the strands.
STIFFENING:
To make the star stiffer, it can be dipped in sugared water or colourless fizzy drink and dried in the correct shape.
