50 g colour 61, light taupe
50 g colour 81, clay
50 g colour 85, mustard
50 g colour 87, pomegranate
50 g colour 88, pistachio
50 g colour 90, moss green
1 heart weighs approx. 5 g.
CROCHET HOOK:
DROPS CROCHET HOOK size 3 mm
CROCHET TENSION:
22 treble crochets in width and 11 rows vertically = 10 x 10 cm.
NOTE! Remember that hook size is only a suggestion. If you have too many stitches on 10 cm switch to larger hook. If you have too few stitches on 10 cm switch to smaller hook.

EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN:

CROCHET TIP FOR CHAIN STITCH:
If you work at the end of crochet hook the chain stitch will often be too tight.
1 chain stitch should be just as long as 1 double crochet/treble crochet/double treble crochet is wide.

START THE PIECE HERE:

HEART – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
Work as follows: Begin with the grid inside the heart, work around the grid, work right and left heart arch on the same row, then work a row with double crochets over heart arches at the same time as working the strap.
HEART:
Begin on hook size 3 mm and DROPS Muskat.
Work 14 chain stitches - read CROCHET TIP FOR CHAIN STITCH in explanation above - these chain stitches are shown in diagram A.1 - follows symbols and work hearts according to diagram A.1. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION!
When entire diagram A.1 has been worked, cut the yarn and fasten.
STARCH:
To make the heart rigid it can be dipped in sugar water or colourless soda and left flat to dry.
