START THE PIECE HERE:

-------------------------------------------------------

POT-HOLDER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
The piece is worked in the round with circular needle, bottom up. A small loop is worked, then the piece is sewn together top and bottom.

POT-HOLDER:
Cast on 80 stitches with short circular needle size 3 mm and colour green khaki DROPS Cotton Light.
Purl 1 round. Insert 1 marker in the first stitch and 1 marker in the 41st stitch (sides). Work A.1 10 times on the round and continue until A.1 has been completed in height. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!
Continue with colour green khaki: Purl 1 round and cast on 24 stitches at the end of the round = 104 stitches.
Turn and cast off the 24 cast-on stitches, then cast off the other 80 stitches with purl. Lay the pot-holder flat with the markers on each side and sew together the bottom and top with small stitches inside the cast-on and cast-off edges. NOTE: The 24 new stitches = loop; sew the end to the corner of the pot-holder.
Embroider noses on the snowmen with 2 flat stitches – see figures A and B.
