EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN:

----------------------------------------------------------

CROCHET INFORMATION:
Replace first treble crochet on round with 3 chain stitches, finish round with 1 slip stitch in 3rd chain stitch.

CHAIN STITCH:
If you work at the end of crochet hook the chain stitch will often be too tight.
1 chain stitch should be just as long as 1 treble crochet is wide.

START THE PIECE HERE:

BAG – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
Worked in the round from bottom up. Work the strap back in the round and sew on when finished.

BAG:
Work 5 chain stitches on hook size 4 mm and 1 strand DROPS Fabel in colour rust and 1 strand in colour fruit patch (2 strands), and form a ring with 1 slip stitch in first chain stitch.
ROUND 1: Work 12 treble crochets in ring – read CROCHET INFORMATION and CHAIN STITCH.
ROUND 2: Work 2 treble crochets in every treble crochet the entire round= 24 treble crochets.
ROUND 3: Work * 1 treble crochet in first/next treble crochet, 2 treble crochets in next treble crochet *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 36 treble crochets.
REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION!
ROUND 4: Work * 1 treble crochet in the first/next 2 treble crochets, 2 treble crochets in next treble crochet *, work from *-* the entire round = 48 treble crochets.
ROUND 5: Work * 1 treble crochet in the first/next 3 treble crochets, 2 treble crochets in next treble crochet *, work from *-* the entire round = 60 treble crochets.
Continue with increases as before - for every round work 1 treble crochet more between every increase until there are 108 treble crochets in total on round (i.e. work last round with 7 treble crochets between every increase).
Work 1 treble crochet in every treble crochet the entire round until piece measures 35 cm. Switch to 2 strands in colour brown. Work 1 round with 1 treble crochet in every treble crochet. Cut and fasten the yarn.

STRAP:
Work the strap in the round without finishing the rounds to get a round shape. At the beginning and end of strap there is a small notch, this will not be visible when strap is fastened. Use hook size 4 mm and 2 strands DROPS Fabel in colour brown. Let the yarn end at the beginning be approx. 20 cm and work 16 chain stitches. Turn piece and work 1 treble crochet in 4th chain stitch from hook. Work 1 treble crochet in each of the next 12 chain stitches on row. Form a ring by working 1 treble crochet in 3rd chain stitch from beginning of row. Then work 1 treble crochet in every treble crochet the entire round without working the round = 14 treble crochets on round. Work in the round until strap measures approx. 60 cm. Let the end of yarn end be approx. 20 cm before cutting the yarn. Pull it through last stitch and use the end at beginning and end of piece to fasten the strap in each side of bag.
