Measurements: approx. 6 cm.
MATERIALS:
DROPS Merino Extra Fine from Garnstudio (belongs to yarn group B)
50 g colour 07, light brown
Or use the following colours:
18, green
26, pistachio
30, mustard
31, forest green
37, misty forest
41, olive
47, sage green
49, chocolate
1 leaf weighs approx. 5 g.
CROCHET HOOK:
DROPS CROCHET HOOK size 3 mm
Hook size is only a suggestion! If you have too many stitches on 10 cm switch to larger hook. If you have too few stitches on 10 cm switch to smaller hook.
CROCHET TENSION:
22 treble crochets in width and 11 rows vertically = 10 x 10 cm.

START THE PIECE HERE:

LEAF - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
Begin the piece with a row of chain stitches in the middle of leaf - then work stitches along the overside of chain stitch row, at the end of chain stitch row continue along the underside of chain stitch row.
LEAF:
Use DROPS Merino Extra Fine and hook size 3 mm.
Work 13 chain stitches in desired colour. Stitches are drawn in diagram A.1. Follow the diagram and work from the 4th chain stitch from hook. Follow the symbols around the chain stitch row, the chain stitches form the middle of leaf. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! Fasten off when diagram has been worked.
If desired you can stiffen the leaf. Dip it in sugar water or colourless soda and place flat to dry.
