100-100 g colour 08, grey beige
NEEDLES:
DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE SIZE 7 MM: Length 40 cm and 80 cm.
The technique MAGIC LOOP can be used – you then only need circular needle of 80 cm in each size.
KNITTING TENSION:
12 stitches in width and 16 rows in height with stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm.
NOTE: Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm, change to a smaller needle size.

INCREASE TIP:
Increase alternately after and before each knitted section by making 1 yarn over. On the next round purl the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes.

NECK WARMER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
The piece is worked in the round with circular needle, top down.
NECK WARMER:
Cast on 48-52 stitches with circular needle size 7 mm and DROPS Wish. Work rib in the round (knit 2, purl 2) for 12-13 cm. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!
Read INCREASE TIP and work as follows:
Increase 1 stitch after each knitted section = 60-65 stitches. Work 3 rounds with new rib (knit 2, purl 3).
Increase 1 stitch before each knitted section = 72-78 stitches. Work 3 rounds with new rib (knit 2, purl 4).
Increase 1 stitch after each knitted section = 84-91 stitches. Work 3 rounds with new rib (knit 2, purl 5).
Increase 1 stitch before each knitted section = 96-104 stitches. Work 3 rounds with new rib (knit 2, purl 6).
Increase 1 stitch after each knitted section = 108-117 stitches. Work 4 rounds with new rib (knit 2, purl 7).
Loosely cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl. The piece measures approx. 25-26 cm.
