SIZE:
1 cloth measures approx. 25 x 25 cm.
MATERIALS:
DROPS SAFRAN from Garnstudio (belongs to yarn group A)
50 g colour 65, pistachio
50 g colour 50, mint
50 g colour 63, sea green
1 cloth weighs approx. 25 g
NEEDLES:
DROPS SINGEL POINTED NEEDLES SIZE 3.5 MM:
Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm, change to a smaller needle size.
KNITTING TENSION:
23 stitches in width and 30 rows in height with stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm.

RIDGE/GARTER STITCH (worked back and forth):
Knit all rows.
1 ridge = knit 2 rows.

START THE PIECE HERE:

CLOTH – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
The cloth is worked back and forth.
CLOTH
Cast on 57 stitches with needle size 3.5 mm and DROPS Safran. Work 2 RIDGES over all stitches – read description above. Then work textured pattern as follows from the right side: 3 stitches in garter stitch, A.1 over the next 48 stitches (= 12 repeats in width), work the first 3 stitches in A.1 and finish with 3 stitches in garter stitch. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!
Continue this pattern until the piece measures approx. 24 cm – adjust so you finish after the first row in A.1.
Work 2 ridges over all stitches. Loosely cast off, cut and fasten the strand.
Work 1 cloth in each colour.
