Can you please help me? Kind regards. Thank you.

Dear Ellen on the previous pattern for body you worked 26 sc/dc on the sides; back piece starts and ends with 14 of these sts on each side (the last 14 sc/dc on one side and the first 14 sc/dc on the other side). Happy crocheting!

01.09.2023 kl. 19:30:DROPS Design answered:
Dear Ellen, could you please specify which part of the back piece is giving you trouble? You work something similar to short rows, where you work the pattern until some stitches of the row are left and turn the piece, so you will be leaving some stitches at the end of the rows unworked. Happy crocheting!

16.08.2023 kl. 09:59:DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Imrie, you start with 199 chains and work the 198 stitches from first row as follows: A.1A (= 1 dc), repeat A.1B a total of 2 times (= 12 sts 2 times = 24 sts), work A.1C (= 12 sts), then work 26 dc/tr (UK-English), work A.1B a total of 5 times (= 12 x 5=60 sts), A.1C (= 12 sts), 26 dc/tr, A.1B x 2 times (24 sts), A.1C (= 12 sts), A.1D (= 1 st)= 1+24+12+26+60+12+26+24+12+1=198 sts. On 2nd row there are 3 chain-space in each A.1B/A.1C = 9 ch-spaces on each front piece and 18 ch-spaces on back piece. Hope it can help. Happy crocheting!

Sie häkeln die Diagramme: A.1A, 2 x A.1B , A.1C (= Vorderteil), 26 fm/Stb (= Seite), 5 x A.1B, A.1C (= Rückenteil), 26 fm/Stb (Seite), 2xA.1B, A.1C, A.1D (= Vorderteil). Die Markierungen sind in den Seiten, wo Sie nur fm/Stb häkeln = 28 fm/Stb nach den Zunahmen; dann sind es 14 fm/Stb zwischen den Markierer für Rückenteil. Viel Spaß beim häkeln!

Dear Mariska, vest is working from bottom up first in one piece from mid front (back and forth) up to armhole then each piece will be worked separately after dividing for armholes. Finish with a crocheted edge around armholes and body. You will have to read the written pattern and follow diagrams at the same time as explained in the pattern. Dag Bianca,

14.05.2014 kl. 19:37:DROPS Design answered:
Dear Ekaterina, you increase only 1 time 4 sts, and continue then as before but you will then 2 more sc/dc on each side. Happy crocheting!

Dear DROPS Design! Now I'm working in size S. My piece is 15 cm and I need to clarify: after first inc I have 6 sc/dc in each side, after the second inc- 8sc/dc? What does it mean - "continue as before with 2 sc/dc more in each side"? Should I add 2 sc/dc more to 8 sc/dc in each side and have 10 sc/dc in total?
14.05.2014 kl. 18:04:DROPS Design answered:
Dear Ekaterina, between A.1C and A.1B on one side then between A.1C and A.1B on other side you should have 4 sc/dc (excluding the sc/dc relevant to the pattern), you will then inc 1 st before + 1 st after marker on the sides, you will have then 6 sc/dc between A.1C & A.1B on both sides. And continue with the 6 sc/dc without further inc. (Just 1 inc row). Happy crocheting!

Dear Ekaterina, you inc only 1 time at the sides, on this inc row you inc 4 sts: 1 before + 1 after each marker. You had 4 sc/dc on each side, you will now have 6 sc/dc on each side, ie the inc are incorporated in the sc/dc on the sides and not into pattern. Happy crocheting!

Dear DROPS Design! Could you help me with increasing? VEST part: What is the total number of sc/dc that I should have after all inc in each side?
14.05.2014 kl. 00:40:DROPS Design answered:
Dear Ekaterina, before dividing for armhole, you increase only once 1 stitch (sc/dc) before + 1 st after marker, you that you will have 2 sts more for the sides between pattern, ie 12 sc/dc in size M on both sides. Happy crocheting!

07.05.2014 kl. 21:16:DROPS Design answered:

Dear Ekaterina, the "C" after 5. in diagram is 1 ch for turning, then 1 sc in last dc from row 4, then work A.1C: 1 sc in next sc, **1 picot, then over the dc-group work (1 sc, 1 picot, 1 sc, 1 picot, 1 sc), then 1 picot, 1 sc in next sc and repeat from ** for A.1B, finish with 1 sc in last sc and 1 sc in 3rd ch from beg of 4th row. Dear Ekaterina, in each repeat you should have 1 picot before the dc-group, 2 picots over the dc-group and then 1 dc after the dc-group (= before the last sc in repeat). Happy crocheting!

Dear Lory, each symbol in diagram correspond to 1 st/group of sts as stated under diagram text. Vertical lines delimit the repetitions of each part of diagram. Read 1st row (and all odd rows) in A.1 from left towards the right, and 2nd row (and all even rows) in A.1 from right to the left. Happy crocheting!

Dear Carolyn, some rows in diagrams will start with 1 sc, some other with 1 dc (3 ch) depending on sts worked on this row. A.1A + A.1D show how to beg/end each row in pattern. 1 symbol = 1 st as explained under diagram text. Happy crocheting!
