Bon crochet!

I don't understand how to do this part: "Then put 10 marking threads in piece with 10 dc in between". By this time, I have 100 stitches in each round. Are these spread around equally, like every 10th stitch? Is row 10 100 stiches, , 11-90 stitches, 12 is 80 and 13, 14 and 15 are 70? How about row 16 - is that the round of 1 dc in every tc?
30.08.2008 kl. 20:49:DROPS Design answered:
Grace, place 10 markers with 10 dc between each marker. Place the marker between two dc's. 10 round is dc in dc, then place markers, 11th round dec 10 dc = 90 dc. 12th round dec 10 dc = 80 dc. 13th round dec 10 dc = 70 dc. 14-16th round = dc in each dc. Then 17th round double thread and work 1 sc in each dc. 18-24th round sc in each sc.
01.09.2008 kl. 22:03:DROPS Design wrote:
Double thread means you use two strands of the yarn. You are finished after you have crocheted 1 round with 1 dc in every tr, and then 7 rounds with 1 dc in every dc.

When crocheting the beret, you say continue crocheting the beret with double thread. What does this mean. Also, you don't mention the finished measurement we are supposed to reach.
