Your yarn converter says I can use a different yarn, eg. Nepal for this pattern. How does this work then? The same applies to other yarns mentioned as suitable substitutes. Please help!

Dear Mrs Harris, you should have here 34 rows in garter stitch = 10 cm in height - the 22 rows are worked in stocking stitch, you need more rows in garter stitch than stocking stitch for the same height. Happy knitting!

Ja, Sie können Air verwenden, einfädig. Alpaca gehört in Garngruppe A, doppelt genommen also A+A, das entspricht Gruppe C - in diese Garngruppe gehört Air.

Hi Luciana! For the circular needle you will need a 40 to 60 cm long needle depending on the size your are making. If you look at the tension with is 17 sts for 10 cm and you divide it up into the total number of sts to be cast on for exampel 6/9 months = 60 sts = a little under 40 cm you will need a 40 cm circular needle. You will have to knit the first part in rounds and later split the work and knit back and forth. Best Wishes Birgitte
