How to start to crochet
Have you never done crochet before? It`s not a problem, just follow this easy instruction and have a look at the pictures below - then you will be on your way!
Figure 1: Hold the short tail under the long tail of the yarn to form a loop.
Figure 2: Insert the crochet hook from above and down through the loop, grab the yarn from the long tail with the hook and pull the yarn through the loop.
Figure 3: You can adjust the loop/stitch size by pulling the long tail. You have made the first stitch.
Figure 4: Lay the long tail (the working yarn) over your index finger and hold the yarn firmly between the other fingers. Insert the hook under the yarn on the index finger.
Figure 5: Grab the yarn with the hook and pull the yarn through the stitch that is on the hook. Now there is one stitch on the hook.
