If you need more help to get started continue to read the clue below. Brief versionThe marking threads are again added in the piece on row 37, without being worked. Add the first marking thread after 15 stitches, add the next 11 marking threads with 30 stitches between each marking thread, there are 15 stitches left on row after the last marking thread. Cut thread after row 39 and work row 40 from the right side. Row 40 begins with 1 slip stitch into the 4th chain stitch from previous row. Diagram for Clue #6
![]() Need help to get started?Here’s a more detailed description of how to start with Clue #6. We have marked where we are working in the diagram with red. Now work rows 33-35 in A.5a and A.5b with stripes and pattern, and read COLOUR CHANGE! When row 35 have been worked, the piece measures approx. 55 cm between the first chain stitch space and the middle of the last row worked. There are 60 fans (= 30 repeats of A.5b) on row. ![]() Now work A.6b (A.6a shows how row begins and are worked in addition to A.6b). ROW 36 is worked from the wrong side: Fold row 35 (row with coral fans - colour c) so the right side touches the right side and work around row 34 (ice blue row – colour h) from the shawl’s back side as follows: ![]() ![]() Work row 37. ![]() Then add the marking threads into the piece once again, without working, as follows: Add the first marking thread after 15 stitches, add the next 11 marking threads with 30 stitches between each marking thread, there are 15 stitches left on row after the last marking thread. ![]() Continue with rows 38 and 39. Cut thread. ![]() Work row 40 from the right side, so that both row 39 and 40 are worked from the right side.
