Insert a marker thread on each side of the 31 middle stitches on top of the foot. Continue in the round with pattern over the 31 stitches on top of the foot and stocking stitch over the other stitches – AT THE SAME TIME decrease on each side of the 31 stitches on top of the foot as follows: Knit together the last 2 stitches before the 31 stitches and knit twisted together the first 2 stitches after the 31 stitches (= 2 stitches decreased)....Knit 1 round where you decrease 7 stitches over the 31 stitches on top of the foot = 32-34-36 stitches.
