Correction HEADBAND:… REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE! When piece measures 24 cm = 9 1/2" divide the piece in the middle (= 18 stitches in each half). Work pattern A.2 as before for 4 cm = 1 1/2" over the first half. Then work the second half in the same way. Place the stitches from the first half back on the needle, but change places with the second half so that the two halves are plaited mid front. Continue with pattern A.2…

Correction - FRONT PIECE: Then work A.2 to finished length, NOTE: When A.2 is repeated after itself, the 1st row on the 2nd repeat will be worked from wrong side. The 1st double crochet on row is replaced with 3 chain stitches as usual.

Work rib as follows: * Knit 1 /purl 1 *, work from *-* to end of round. Work this rib for 4-4-5-5-6-6 cm = 1 1/2"-1 1/2"-2"-2"-2 3/8"-2 3/8". On the next round work A.1 over all stitches, AT THE SAME TIME on the first round of A.1 increase 40-44-50-58-62-64 stitches evenly on round = 132-142-152-168-180-190 stitches.
