5th row (= RS): Work as row 1, but start by casting off 4 K sts in the beg of row.
6th row (WS): Cast off the first 4 sts with P. P the remaining sts.
Repeat 3rd-6th row (= 1 repetition), i.e. work lace pattern on both sides of the middle and dec 2 sts in the middle of the shawl on every 4th row.
After a total of 14 repetitions have been worked = 19 sts remain on needle.
