ASSEMBLY:
Sew the 4 squares tog 2 by 2, dc to dc, first vertically and then horizontally (15-ch-loop on square 4 = towards the top).
Now crochet a border round the pot holder with off-white and crochet hook size 4 mm as follows, beg in first dc after the 15-ch-loop on square 4:
