Back piece: = 57-63-69-73-82-89 sts. Bind off for armhole as described for front piece = 49-49-51-53-56-59 sts. When piece measures 48-49-50-51-52-53 cm [19’’-19¼’’-19¾’’-20’’-20½’’-21’’] bind off the middle 27-27-29-29-30-31 sts for neck and complete each shoulder separately.

At the same time dec each side as follows: K tog the last 2 sts before the 30 sts on upper foot into back of loop and K tog the first 2 sts after the 30 sts. Dec like this on every other round a total of 10-9-8 times = 48-52-56 sts.

Cables: Round 7:* P6, slip 2 sts on cable in front of piece, P2, 1 YO, K 2 from cable needle tog into back of loop, slip 2 sts on cable needle behind piece, K2 tog, 1 YO, P2 from cable needle *, repeat from *-* a total of 5-5-6 times.
SOCK:
Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Cast on 80-80-96 sts on needle size 2.5 mm [US 1], K 2 rounds and continue in rib, P2/K2.

Heel: Row 1 (= RS): Work row until 8-8-10 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to P, P1, psso, turn the piece.
Row 2 (= WS): Work row until 8-8-10 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso, turn the piece.
Row 3: Work row until 7-7-9 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to P, P1, psso, turn the piece.
Row 4: Work row until 7-7-9 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso, turn the piece.

Correction: (there will be small holes between fingers, sew these tog afterwards). Cut the strand. Work next round as follows: work 1 dc in each 4-5-5 dc on little finger, and continue round the hand, at the same time dec 6 dc evenly – see Decreasing tip, and finish round by working over the remaining 4-5-5 sts on little finger = 36-40-44 dc on round. The beginning of round is now in the middle of the little finger.
