Start by choosing the size. Measure a sweater which fits the person who will be wearing the Christmas sweater and then compare these measurements to the measurement charts below to get the best fit.

Note: The technique MAGIC LOOP can be used – you then only need circular needles of 80 cm = 32” in each size. Remember the needle size is only a guide.

The knitting tension in this pattern is 17 stitches in width and 22 rows in height with stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm = 4” x 4”. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.

We'll be knitting the sweater in DROPS Air but remember however that you can choose another quality from Yarn Group C or combine 2 strands from Yarn Group A.
