Clue #2 - Let's finish that first square!

The second clue in the seasons Crochet-Along includes the 6th to 11th round in the square which we call A.1. We are using specific diagrams which are simply described in the text as well as pictures of how the work looks, stitch for stitch. If you are used to working from a diagram, you can find a complete diagram with symbols and text underneath all the pictures. If you would rather follow our tutorial videos you can find them at the bottom of the page.

Colors

In this step (A.1) you will use the following color combination:

ROUND 6: 01 white
ROUND 7: 17 light lilac
ROUND 8: 15 heather
ROUND 9: 05 light wash

COLOR TIPS: Are you using a different color combination than the one we are crocheting with? Make a small note of which color number replaces which before starting, by seeing the original materials here.

My work is not square, despite me trying to shape it. My stitch count is correct. Will this correct itself as I go along and join further squares, or damping down at the end of the cal?? Any advice would be appreciated.

DROPS Design 19.04.2017 - 11:09:

Hi Teresa, if you can shape it into right size, it will correct itself when you assembly the Squares later.

Claire 11.04.2017 - 21:54:

Buon lavoro!

Diana Josefin Wallenberg 22.03.2017 - 14:06:

Hur fäster man trådarna?

DROPS Design 23.03.2017 - 11:44:

Hej Diana, se här:

Jeanette 18.03.2017 - 22:34:

Polly Warnes 16.03.2017 - 13:37:

Is there a PDF print friendly version available please.

Elim 16.03.2017 - 13:34:

Nina 16.03.2017 - 13:03:

Når på dagen kommer neste hint? Venter i spenning..

DROPS Design 16.03.2017 - 13:54:

Hej Nina. Den er lige kommet paa :)

Hanna 16.03.2017 - 12:58:

Vore väldigt trevligt om ni kunde släppa ledtråd 3 snart. Jag vill ju virka :)

Orion 16.03.2017 - 12:22:

Jerry 16.03.2017 - 09:41:

I'm eagerly waiting for clue 3 :) Thank you for the design.

Emelie 16.03.2017 - 08:09:

Mette Dinesen 12.03.2017 - 18:53:
