Clue #16 - 8th edge - lovely, wavy ends

We have reached the last 3 rounds of our blanket, which will create a lovely, wavy edge and put an end to the mystery...

We hope you have enjoyed all the clues as much as we have, learning new techniques while crocheting together; and that you are happy with the final result, a fantastic flower blanket you can proudly cuddle into!

ROUND 1:
Switch to turquoise (no 18), work 3 ch (= 1st tr), 1 ch, skip 1 dc, * 1 tr around next ch, 1 ch, skip 1 dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round.

In the corners work 1 tr, 3 ch, 1 tr and 1 ch, skip next dc.

Finish round with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round, read COLOUR CHANGE.
= 444 tr and 440 ch on round (= 126 tr and 125 ch on each long side, 96 tr and 95 ch on each short side) + 4 3-ch-spaces in the corners.

COLOUR CHANGE:
When changing colour work as follows: Before last pull through of last loop on hook, switch colour, pull the last loop on hook through with the new colour.

Work * 1 tr around next ch, 1 ch, skip 1 dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round.

= ch
= tr


In the corners work 1 tr, 3 ch, 1 tr and 1 ch, skip next dc.

= ch
= tr


Finish round with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round, read COLOUR CHANGE.

= sl st

ROUND 2:
Work 3 ch (= 1 tr), 1 tr in same st, * 3 ch, work 2 tr tog in same st as follows: Work 1 tr but wait with last pull through (= 2 loops on hook), work 1 tr more in same st (= 3 loops on hook) and pull last YO through all 3 loops on hook *, repeat 1 more time (= 6 tr in same st), 1 ch, skip 3 sts, 1 dc in next tr, 1 ch, skip 1 st.

Work * 1 dc in next tr, 1 ch, skip 3 sts, in next tr work - 1 FAN -read below, 1 ch, skip 3 sts, 1 dc in next tr, 1 ch, skip 1 st *, repeat *-* the entire round, finish each side with 1 dc in last st.

Work 1 ch, 1 FAN and 1 ch in the corners. Finish round with 1 dc in next to last tr, 1 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch at beg of round. (= 25 fans in each long side, 19 fans in each short side and 1 fan in each corner).

FAN:
* Work 1 tr but wait with last pull through (= 2 loops on hook), work 1 tr more in same st (= 3 loops on hook) and pull last YO through all 3 loops on hook, 3 ch *, repeat from *-* 1 more time, 1 tr in same st but wait with last pull through (= 2 loops on hook), work 1 tr more in same st (= 3 loops on hook) and pull last YO through all 3 loops on hook (= 3 tr-groups in same st with 3 ch between every tr-group).

Work * 1 dc in next tr, 1 ch, skip 3 sts, in next tr work - read FAN , 1 ch, skip 3 sts, 1 dc in next tr, 1 ch, skip 1 st *, repeat *-* the entire round.

= ch
= dc
= 2 tr tog


Finish each side with 1 dc in last st.

= dc


Work 1 ch, 1 FAN and 1 ch in the corners.

= ch
= 2 tr tog


Finish round with 1 dc in next to last tr, 1 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch at beg of round.

= ch
= dc
= sl st

ROUND 3: Work * 3 dc around next ch-space, 1 dc at the top of fan from previous round, 1 PICOT-2, read PICOT-2 below, 3 dc around next ch-space, 1 ch, 1 dc around ch from previous round (ch between every FAN), 1 ch, skip 3 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round.

Work as follows in the corners: 3 dc around ch-space, 1 dc at the top of FAN from previous round, 1 PICOT-2, 3 dc around next ch-space, 1 ch, skip 2 sts, 1 dc in next dc, 1 ch.

Finish round with 1 sl st in 1st ch on round. Fasten off.

PICOT-2:
3 ch, 1 sl st in 3rd ch from hook.

Work * 3 dc around next ch-space, 1 dc at the top of fan from previous round, 1 PICOT-2, read PICOT-2 below, 3 dc around next ch-space, 1 ch, 1 dc around ch from previous round (ch between every FAN), 1 ch, skip 3 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round.

Hola Loly, siempre se calcula aproximadamente la cantidad de ovillos y, por tanto, siempre quedarán restos de colores. La cantidad de restos puede variar dependiendo de la tensión a la que se trabaja la labor, la talla o el modo de unir los puntos.
