In this DROPS video we show how to knit the beautiful Violetta slippers with cables in DROPS 163-15. We work size 35/37.
These slippers are made in DROPS Alaska, but in the video we knit with a thicker yarn, DROPS Snow.

It's beautiful. i just ask about one thing, what "2 strands Alaska" is meaning? and how many sts i divide on each needle if i caste on each size (36-38-40)sts. thanks alot.

DROPS Design answered:
Dear Nidaa, these slippers are worked with 2 strands Alaska held together as just one (= work with 1 strand from 2 separate balls). Distribute the sts on 4 double pointed needles as follows: 9 sts on each needle in 1st size, 9 sts on 2 needles + 10 sts on 2 needles in 2nd size, and 10 sts on each needle in the larger size.
