A crochet fly

ROW 1: Work 7 ch.
ROW 2: Work back in ch-row as follows: 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook, 1 hdc in each of the next ch 2, 1 dc in each of the next ch 2, work ch 3, rotate the piece and work 1 sl st on the underside of last dc (= 1st ch on ch-row from 1st row). The fly's body and head are done and continue to make wings.
ROW 3: Continue to work along the underside of ch-row from 1st row as follows: Work 1 sl st in next dc, switch to a different color and work 1 sl st in next hdc. Then work the wings as follows: * ch 3, 1 dc in same hdc, 1 dc in next hdc, ch 3, 1 sl st in same hdc *, work ch 3, rotate the piece and let the ch-row follow around to the back of the fly.
ROW 4: Work 1 sl st on the underside of the last hdc worked on 3rd row and repeat from *-* 1 time. Cut and fasten the threads.

I followed the video and found it very thorough and easy to follow! We could use some vocal help for those who have been crocheting only recently, however it was so easy , anyone could make these crochet items and enjoy them!!!
