In this DROPS video we show you how to knit a folded edge in a skirt. The edge is worked in the round. We work 6 cm stocking stitch, before we fold the cast-on edge to the back and knit the stitches from the needle together with the stitches from the cast-on edge. We leave a hole to thread an elastic through.

Buongiorno, ma se io lavorassi il bordo a coste 1/1 o 2/2 potrei fare a meno di inserire un elastico? O servirebbe comunque? Grazie

Buonasera Luisa, potrebbe provare a lavorare il bordo a coste, ma l'elastico è sempre preferibile per impedire che a lungo andare il tessuto possa cedere. Buon lavoro!
